- THIS IS A TOTALLY REMANUFACTURED BLOCK AND WE PERFORMED ALL THE WORK LISTED BELOW.
- WE HAVE A CASE PICTURED ( BLOCK SHOWN WITHOUT POINTS BUT YOU WILL RECEIVE BLOCK WITH POINTS INSTALLED ) BUT HAVE BLOCKS AVAILABLE FOR MOST APPLICATIONS OF JOHN DEERE, ( 140 BLOCK SLIGHTLY HIGHER ) WHEELHORSE, ARIENS, SIMPLICITY, JACOBSEN, AND OTHERS.

- ( CORE ) A returned core is required for this item, but we pay return shipping on core! You can ship core back before we ship new block , or pay a refundable core charge up front ( same as any autoparts store ) and return core after your new block is installed
- ( NOTE ) BALANCE GEARS ARE $40 EXTRA AND DO INCLUDE NEW BEARINGS AND YOU MUST SPECIFY AND PAY $40 WHEN ORDERING IF YOU WANT US TO INSTALL THEM.

- ALL BLOCKS ARE BORED OVERSIZE, SURFACES ARE FLATTENED, THEN EACH IS CLEANED, GLASS BEADED, AND COATED. NEXT VALVES, GUIDES, AND SEATS ARE REMACHINED AND CRANKSHAFT IS GROUND UNDERSIZE.
- WE REASSEMBLE WITH ALL NEW PISTON, RINGS, ROD, SEALS, GASKETS, AND NEW GOVERNOR. CAMSHAFT AND LIFTERS ARE RECONDITIONED.
- THEN WE INSTALL NEW POINTS, PLUNGER, AND SET POINTS AND VALVES.

Because these are on older machines just ordering for an application or giving a spec number doesn't insure you will get a motor that fits as someone may have adapted another engine to fit. This is why we always ask questions about block to insure we send proper product to you.

UPDATE ( We have had a number of people order a product other than what we know fits recently, and even after us telling them it wasn't right for their application they told us what to send. Then when engine didn't fit because they measured wrong, they claimed it was our fault. We (always write down what customer says to avoid a problem later). This is very costly to us by the time we return and build another so we have a new policy. If you order a motor other than what is supposed to fit we will tell you and take order. We will send a paper detailing what you wanted and what should fit your tractor and it must be signed and returned. If engine is wrong fit when it gets there we will pickup, return to us , refund your money minus $200 for a twin and $150 for a single and you will have to find elsewhere.

We ask plenty of questions to avoid this so fortunately it seldom happens but some people just don't take the time to check important things we ask them to check and it causes problems.
